About FRCC
From late 2002, the FRCC operated as a sub-committee of the Fitzroy Basin Association and became incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981 on 7th January 2005.
FRCC Management Committee
FRCC is governed by a Management Committee which is responsible for the management and operation of the organisation. The Committee is also responsible for project assessment and approvals. The Management Committee meets on a monthly basis.
The Committee consists of up to 11 people with particular areas of interest including grazing, Landcare, weeds, cultural heritage, local government, business, industry, water, conservation, fishing and horticulture. The FRCC Management Committee is structured such that:
- Eight (8) Members are elected by the membership (Elected members)
- Up to three (3) people are selected by the Committee to fill gaps in knowledge or sector representation (Special Members).

Membership to the FRCC
The FRCC invites groups, organisations, individuals and schools to apply for membership. The FRCC Committee reviews all membership applications to ensure the applicant is eligible for membership as all members must either live or work in the catchment. Membership is free and the benefits include:
- Receive quarterly newsletters
- Receive invitations to special events
- Receive invitations to Neighbourhood Catchment workshops
- Be involved in community natural resource management planning activities.

FRCC Staff
The FRCC has dedicated staff whose core activities focus on the coordination and delivery of the Neighbourhood Catchment program in the region. Staff travel extensively throughout the catchment to perform property visits and attend meetings.
